Rocking R Ranch and Rescue is a nonprofit organization with a focus on saving equine in need. We rescue, rehabilitate, and find loving homes for those in need. Our main focus is on saving equine from slaughter, ahead of the kill buyers. We attend local auctions and bid against them, saving the horse before they reach the kill pen. We also assist local law enforcement with neglect cases and owner surrenders. We believe that their lives are worthy, and deserving of a chance to be healthy and happy. Those that are not considered "adoptable" due to their health or age, remain at the rescue with us. We do NOT believe in ending a life just because they are not adoptable.
